Septic Tank Emptying Northampton & Kettering

A septic tank requires regular maintenance and frequent septic tank emptying ensures it is working as efficiently as possible. Tanks that are regularly maintained and serviced can last an entire lifetime, however those that are rarely serviced can break down rapidly, and require very expensive repairs or a complete replacement.

From simple septic tank emptying through to a thorough inspection and replacement, our service covers all makes and sizes of septic tanks and we operate throughout the Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough and Daventry areas.

Soak Away System

Liquids from a septic tank often run away to a soak away whilst any solids are retained and need to be removed professionally. If they are not the storage capacity becomes less and less, resulting in the tank filling to the point where it can no longer be emptied.

Soak aways will generally last a lifetime if the septic tank is used, emptied and maintained in compliance with the manufacturers simple guidelines. It will need replacing in a very short space of time otherwise.

The principle of a septic tank soak away is to disperse effluent (sewerage without a high concentration of solids) into the sub soil at the site. The size of the soak away will be dependant on the porosity of the sub soil, the size of the property and the number of persons the system is serving.
